Spend this summer with a community of elearning developers and come away with an incredible Storyline portfolio (and new friends!). In just six weeks you’ll master Storyline triggers and variables, scenarios, gamification, and more. Brush up on your instructional design skills and dive deep into elearning development.
This summer session, Cal State Fullerton’s Instructional Design and Technology program is launching a brand-new elective: IDT 515: Advanced Skills in Instructional Design and Digital Authoring Tools. I’m thrilled to design the course and serve as its inaugural facilitator! IDT 515 will be delivered entirely online and asynchronously via the Canvas LMS.
Enrollment is open to any elearning developer that already holds a bachelor’s degree! Earn 3 units of graduate credit by completing this elective.
In IDT 515, students will develop complex online learning experiences that are the solution to real world situations. This course will focus on utilizing advanced features of Articulate Storyline to develop interactive learning objects. Course content and activities will include application of instructional strategies in the online learning environment. Students will practice advanced instructional design and elearning development skills using case studies and other real-world scenarios.
